When I read a book, I usually walk in the heroine's shoes. I mean really, who wouldn't want to gaze soulfully into the bodacious eyes of Gabriel Drake from my PLEASURING THE PIRATE?
Guess what? Guys like to try on the hero's boots, too!
Most just don't go this far.

I got this totally giggle-worthy pic from Isaac, a guy who wants to be a pirate in the worst way. Think he managed it, don't you?
Thanks for sharing your photoshop skills with us, Isaac! You make a formidable pirate. May fair seas and saucy maids greet ye where 'er ye go, matey!
How about the rest of you? Have you ever done a photoshop of yourself? Mine is on the header of THE CHATELAINES!
MERRY CHRISTMAS BALL CONTESTEnter for a chance to win $100 gift card on December 1st!
PS. Today I'm also sharing my first real life experience with sexual harrassment over at Amanda McIntyre's House of Muse. Don't worry. As with all my stories, there's a happy ending.
This is quite possibly the funniest thing I've seen in a long time! PRICELESS!
ReplyDeleteI also think it shows that guys want adventure and romance in their lives, too!
ReplyDeleteThanks again for sharing the pic with us, Isaac!
I love Gabriel and Isaac, you did a great job lol lol What a pirate. lol
ReplyDeleteThis was a good one Emily.
Carol L.
Glad you enjoyed it, Carol!
ReplyDeleteHilarious! Thanks for sharing. I really need to read this book. :-)
ReplyDeleteHilarious. What a great way to start the day. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteOh man, that's funny!
ReplyDeleteEm, has anyone ever noticed the perfectly placed "U" on the pants of your hot pirate?
;)
G.
Donna--It just so happens that there is a way for you to obtain an autographed copy of PLEASURING THE PIRATE (or any of my other titles) online through THE BOOK OASIS. And 10% off to boot!
ReplyDeleteErin--Glad to have brought a smile to your day!
Genella--Yes indeed, the generously sized U has been duly noted before, but thanks for drawing it to our attention again!
Priceless! Too funny. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGlad I could make you smile, Linda!
ReplyDeleteCertainly giggle worthy. Caught me totally off guard. Typical me, I thought it was serious at first and choked.
ReplyDeleteExcellent post on House Of Muse. You brought up some good points.
ReplyDeleteIsaac meant it in good fun. Just like my photoshopped image over at THE CHATELAINES where I have an actual waistline and am sporting a Monica Lewinsi beret!
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious, Emily! And what a compliment!
ReplyDeleteAsh
Issac, you're one brave man. Good photo.
ReplyDeleteAshlyn & Sandy--Isaac's pirate has brought a lot of smiles to lots of folks. That's always a good thing!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed it!
Hey all :) Isaac was my friend that e-mailed the picture to Emily. I shopped my head onto the pic to give him a good laugh after a bad day, but I guess it can work for more than just him haha.
ReplyDeleteThanks for calling me a formidable pirate haha. Normally my chest is covered in hair and being all rugged, but I'll make the photographer happy when I can and shave it all off. Yes I'm just that rugged and manly. It's all in a day's work when I'm a pirate that needs pleasuring.
Austin! Sorry I thought that was Isaac. My mistake. We've had such fun with this. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteFunny you should mention chest hair. The first time I saw the cover art for PLEASURING THE PIRATE, Gabriel Drake was sporting a manly pelt. But my editor said, "Don't worry. We'll give him a wax for the final shoot."
Darn! I liked the hairy chest!
