Last Friday I pitched my proposal for STROKE OF GENIUS to my editor and today, she called with an offer! Here's the blurb:Stroke of Genius

STROKE OF GENIUS will be out in June 2010 from Leisure Books. Guess I need to get it written!

Nynke, I'm glad you like the new website look. I wanted to change my name font to resemble the one on the book covers. And the colors of this site say "historical author" more than the previous ones, I think. I'm no designer, but I had fun pulling it all together. I use my website fiddling time as "imagining" time.
Oh, say! While I'm thinking about it, let me suggest everyone pop over to Colleen's blog Boxing the Octopus. She gave us a tongue-in-cheek "interview" of an almost "First Dog" on April Fools! Too funny!

Emily, this books sounds wonderful. I cannot wait to read it. I just got Pleasuring the Pirate and I'm taking it with me on my spring break vacation to Sanibel. I'm envisioning myself lying on the beach with a strawberry daiquiri and your book...heaven!
Genella, I think good ideas just float in the air. It's not surprising we all pull them down. But I told a workshop once that we could all be handed the same premise and there would be as many different stories are there were writers in the room.
When is your "artsy" book coming out?
Penny--Have a friend take a pic of you on the beach with my Pirate and I'll post it! I've seen some authors do a sort of "Where's Waldo?" for their titles and get readers to send in pics of the books in exotic locations. Have a great time!
