Home Again

Just got back from the beautiful island of Bermuda. It was glorious. This shot was taken from inside the Commissioner's House at Dockyard (a Victorian era British fort).

Now I'm 5 pages behind on my writing schedule and waist deep in laundry, but it's all good. I promise to tell you all about it next week. My dryer just buzzed at me so it's time to fold again.

Lots of things happening next week--blog guests, another installment of My Husband Married a Hooker, a new Red Pencil Thursday featuring a new WIP from Saranna DeWylde, and oh yeah, STROKE OF GENIUS will be released on May 25th!!!!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Thanks, Gillian. Me too! It's always a little scary to send a new book out into the world. Sort of like sending your child off to school for the first time. You hope it will be treated kindly and find lots of new friends.

Jane L--I guess people who pre-ordered Stroke of Genius at Amazon probably have their copy now. It's been showing available there for a few days.

Deb--The trip was delightfully non-stressed. Now my DH and I have to bring the relaxed feelings back with us.

Welcome back. Glad you had a good trip. The down side of a good trip and break is coming back and catching up on all the work. Laundry always #1. We will be going on a two week trip shortly. Number one son better not forget to mow our acre plus lawn or it will look like a hayfield when we get back.

Welcome back. You sound relaxed, so that's a good thing.

Happy Scribbling :)

Pat--Now my writing clock is really ticking for TOUCH OF A THIEF, my first Mia Marlowe title. It's due June 1st and I so want Alicia Condon, my new Brava editor to love it.

Must type "The End" soon!

Glynis--Furious scribbling is more like it! Deadlines do tend to a light a fire under me and June 1st is looming large on my horizon.
