5 HEART REVIEW!

VEXING THE VISCOUNT just received a 5 heart review over at Cheeky Reads! I'm totally jazzed because their kind reviewer told me this is their first EVER 5 heart designation! I can't leave a message because that feels a little too pushy, but please pop over and leave your two cents worth for me! Thanks!

Yay for cheeky reviewers!

Here's a short slideshow of my DH and I on our recent cruise to Bermuda!

Thanks, Colleen! Your TRIPLE EXPOSURE made the trip to Bermuda with me and all I can say is your RITA nomination is totally deserved! I'll be standing on my chair cheering for you in July!

Thanks, Sabrina. I really appreciate your stellar review of VEXING THE VISCOUNT!

You only have to wait till September 29th for my next release! My novella in A CHRISTMAS BALL with Jennifer Ashley and Alissa Johnson hits the shelves then. All of our characters are attending Lord and Lady Hartwell's grand Christmas Ball and YOU are invited too!

Thanks, Amanda. It was a glorious place. I'm so ready to go back!

Caffey, let me just say that it's hard to beat a cruise vacation for value. Everything is included--transportation, dining, your accomodations, entertainment. If you don't want to, you don't need to spend another dime.

But don't tell my DH that. I usually end up spending more at the art auctions. I'll be posting those pics later this week!

Congrats on the 5 star review! And thanks for sharing the photos from your recent cruise ... your DH and his BW (beautiful wife) both look relaxed and happy, and Bermuda looks amazing ... Now, back to work, please; eagerly awaiting your next book!!

Thanks, Marcy.

Nose now firmly attached to grindstone!

Wow, 5 stars! Great! And so are the Bermuda pictures... Next year, I'm going on holiday, too. I am! But first, some more grindstone for me too.

One thing I really admire about Europeans is their notion of "holiday." When our German friends go on vacation, they don't just get away for a week--they take a month to 6 weeks!

I doubt the DH would want to go back to work after that much time off.

Long holidays are definitely a good thing! Although I don't think I've ever had 6 weeks off after high school - and sitting around at home for that long did get a little boring.
I'm not getting anything over a weekend off this summer, since I'm finishing my dissertation, but next year, I'm taking 3 weeks!

Dissertation? Ah, we have an educated woman among us! Something in linguistics isn't it, Nynke?
